Every room of this sample four-bedroom apartment drawn to scale from its floor plan, with each piece of furniture where it goes, its size and how far it sits from the walls. It is the same layout as the design pack and the 3D walkthrough, and it is the sheet a delivery crew or a handyman would work from.

How to read these plans

North is up. All measurements are in centimetres, from the finished wall face.
Wall lengths are taken from this sample's floor plan, an original HomePrint design layout. Check them on site before ordering.
The numbers on the plan match the tables under it. "Where it goes" gives the gap from each piece to the nearest walls.
The dimension lines outside each room run wall by wall, with the doors and windows; the outer line is the full wall.

The kitchen joinery stays as it is. The island is set at 210 x 85 cm, 100 cm from the fridge and counter return and 95 cm from the counter run, so both working aisles are wider than the 90 cm a kitchen needs.
The media unit takes the TV; the sofa faces it across the coffee table.

Entrance, powder room and laundry

Entrance 150 x 360 cm, open to the living room. Powder room and laundry 200 x 180 cm each on the plan.

The front door is hinged on its west side and opens into the entrance, clear of the console and the runner.
On the entrance's east wall, the powder room door starts 50 cm and the laundry door 230 cm from the front door wall. Both open into their rooms, hinged at their south sides.
The powder room and the laundry keep their fixed fittings; only towels are added.

Main bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom

Main bedroom 480 x 460 cm, walk-in wardrobe 320 x 200 cm and main bathroom 320 x 260 cm on the plan.

The bedroom opens into the walk-in wardrobe through a 90 cm opening with no door. The bathroom door opens into the walk-in wardrobe, hinged on its west side, so its leaf clears the shower.

The door is in the east wall, 100 cm from the bed wall and 90 cm wide. It opens into the room, hinged at its south side; its open leaf stops 8 cm short of the bed and passes over the corner of the rug, which is 0.4 cm thick.
The dimension line on the wardrobe wall marks the built-in wardrobe: 150 cm long, in the north-east corner.
